We all have a past or else you and me would not be alive on Earth now. So the question remains, how do we forgive previous transgressions made against ourselves? Does this life give us any proper clues, or do we just stumble around without receiving clear instructions? Perhaps we also feel remorse for hurts we may have done to others, I know that I do. And it’s not only about people, the natural world is sometimes a very cruel place. I’m not referring to the normal everyday ups and downs, or having a sore tooth. The bigger picture often seems gloomy, and in an instant you are struck down by an enormous hurricane. You lose a job or worse, someone you really love dies. Try not to linger too long fretting over sad old wounds, because if you do they will never properly close.
Oh! My life has not been without pain and unhappiness. But I think it’s okay to forgive and forget, every dawn is a new beginning, another chance to pick yourself up and start again. So at the end of the day, when all else fails, you can wish upon a star. I was listening to the radio yesterday and heard this song, it’s pretty lyrics are uplifting.
Someday I’ll wish upon a star,
And wake up where the clouds are far behind.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me.
Blogging about my sorrows often does help relieve the misery felt inside, and its’ a good way of sharing my inner most thoughts with an online audience. If in fact they are reading or looking at the pictures of flowers? Ha!Ha! I write many informative articles on the subject of gender and equal opportunity for girls. Somewhere over the rainbow the elusive dream of gender equality will come true. You are welcome to comment and join the discussion. Stop by anytime!
