So what is the importance of day and how does it relate to Vef?
Vefday is a fusion of a newly created word vef and day, which is the period of radiance between sunrise and nightfall. A day, in the sense of daytime that is distinguished from night-time, is commonly defined as the period during which sunlight directly reaches the ground, assuming that there are no local obstacles. The length of daytime averages slightly more than half of the 24-hour day. The time required for a celestial body to turn once on its axis; especially, the span of the Earth’s rotation. Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole. Radiance is the quality of being bright and sending out rays of light. Fushion is a process in which different styles, ideas, designs etc combine to form something new.
Vef certainly relates to all the above (day, time and radiance). Vefday is about equality, identity and liberty. Gender equality is possible only when societal attitudes are harmonious. Vefday is a global co-operative organization and can be embraced by any country. Oh yes! This radiant day can change our world. Vefday is a time for bringing us, both sexes, together freely as one.
